The value of the Ghana Cedi depends on many economic factors, which include trade (export, import, balance of payment) and capital in-flow (Foreign direct investments, remittances) and gold reserves. The value of the Cedi is also influenced by the country's economic prospects (fiscal stability, sustainable debt, economic growth). Gross International Reserves (GRI) also contributes to the stability of the cedi. Capital outflows weakens the Cedi.
