In Foreign exchange (FOREX), currencies are categorized into majors, minors, and exotics. Major pairs are those that include the US dollar (for example USD/EURO, USD/GBP, USD/JPY or USD/CHF). Minor currency pairs in Forex do not include the US dollar (USD). They refer to as cross-currency pairs. Popular examples include EUR/GBP, AUD/JPY, and GBP/JPY. Ghana Cedi cannot be directly converted into any of the major or minor currencies outside of Ghanaian borders. It is not traded on the Ghana domestic exchanges or on any international exchange.
